The Victorian villas and larger houses across north Leamington, around Milverton and along the Kenilworth and Lillington roads, have frontages that were laid out for a carriage turn and have ended up in tired tarmac or migrating gravel.

The request there is usually resin bound in a natural aggregate that reads as gravel from the road but stays put, with a stone or setts border, and the constraint is the conservation area: Warwick District Council can take a view on removing a wall, railings or a hedge, and on the surface material, so we check the address before we quote. Ground near the Leam and the Avon is lower and wetter, and the drainage is designed for it rather than assumed.
