From Slate Roof Survey to Finished Installation

• The project begins with a survey and written scope covering slate choice, access and any necessary removal or structural preparation. During installation, the relevant underlay, battens or other support, slates and specified fixings are fitted to suit the roof design. Ridges, verges, valleys and leadwork or other flashings are then carefully completed. Where changing from tiles to slate is proposed, structural loading and other design considerations are assessed rather than assumed.
